Partnerships to fast track your education have been signed with both a community college and four-year colleges.
Bachelor's/PharmD dual degrees are intended for students exploring or beginning their studies at an undergraduate institution. 桃子视频 currently partners with various four-year colleges and universities to offer 3+4 dual degree programs where students earn a bachelor’s degree from their undergraduate institution and a PharmD degree from 桃子视频's pharmacy school in a total of seven years.
Master's/PharmD dual degrees are intended for students ready to apply or already accepted into 桃子视频's PharmD program. Students that pursue a Master's/PharmD dual degree have the opportunity to complete coursework towards one of three Master's degree options during their time at 桃子视频.
Earn your PharmD in just 6 years of higher education
桃子视频’s School of Pharmacy currently partners with a community college so a student can complete their entry-level courses at McHenry County College, then transfer to earn a PharmD degree from CUW in a total of just six years.

PharmD application process
Students pursuing this pathway that are seeking admission into the PharmD program at CUW will apply for admission during the second year of their program. To be guaranteed a preferred interview spot, students will need to:
- Submit the PharmCAS application by June 1 the year they plan to enroll in the PharmD program
- Maintain a 2.75 cumulative GPA and a C or better in all McHenry County College coursework

How it works
- Students spend three years at their undergraduate institution working towards a bachelor’s degree while fulfilling the pre-pharmacy requirements for CUW’s PharmD program.
- Upon PharmD admission, students begin the four-year PharmD program at CUW and use courses taken during their first (P1) or first and second (P1 and P2) years at CUW to fulfill their bachelor’s degree requirements at their undergraduate institution.
- After successfully completing the requirements at their undergraduate institution and the first (P1) or first and second (P1 and P2) years in the PharmD program at CUW, students will receive a bachelor’s degree from their undergraduate institution and will continue through the PharmD curriculum at CUW to earn their PharmD.

PharmD application process
Students on a 3+4 dual-degree plan who are seeking admission into the PharmD program at CUW will apply for admission during the third year of their undergraduate program. To be guaranteed an interview*, 3+4 dual degree students will need to:
- Submit the PharmCAS application by June 1 the year they plan to enroll in the PharmD program
- Maintain a 2.75 cumulative GPA and a C- or better in all pre-pharmacy coursework
*CUW does extend interview invitations to candidates with a GPA lower than 2.75 on a case-by-case basis. Effective April 2020, CUWSOP is a PCAT optional institution. Students should connect with the CUWSOP Admissions Team to discuss the overall strength of their application and discuss if taking the PCAT would make them a more competitive applicant.

Earn your master's degree while pursuing your PharmD
桃子视频 School of Pharmacy (CUWSOP) offers three Master's/PharmD dual degree programs that enable students to earn a specialized master's degree along with their Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
How it works
Candidates for admission to a Master's/PharmD dual degree program must first meet CUWSOP admissions requirements and then complete a supplemental application for the desired master's program. Admission to each program is reviewed and approved by the master's program process.
Master's/PharmD Dual Degree Options
PharmD/Master's of Business Administration
- Tomorrow's pharmacy leaders are being formed today. This degree combination provides an exceptional path for graduates to prepare for management, administrative, entrepreneurial, and leadership roles in pharmacy and healthcare organizations
PharmD/Master's of Public Healthcare
- As healthcare reform continues to be at the forefront of the healthcare industry, prevention-focused public health is projected to grow in demand and importance. Pharmacists can and should play a critical role in leading this discussion. The PharmD/MPH dual degree program allows students to focus on medication safety and pharmacovigilance concentration to complement their passion for service and desire to improve public health.
PharmD/Master's in Natural Product Sciences
- You will explore the pharmacology of and the development of products from natural sources to ensure they perform as expected for consumers. Become an advocate that will work to establish the safety and efficacy of naturally sourced products. From natural medicines and herbal supplements to natural-derived ingredients you will develop the skills and expertise to further expand this emerging industry.
